Ben Hodges grew up in the small community of Moselle in Jones County, Mississippi, where he developed a passion for hunting, fishing, wildlife, and the outdoors at an early age. He took every opportunity he could to hunt and fish alongside his father, grandfather, and uncles. From deer, doves, ducks, and turkeys to squirrels and rabbits, if it had a season, they were probably pursuing it. Some of Ben’s favorite childhood memories include trapping raccoons and other predators with his father and checking their traps before school.
Because his father served in the military, Ben’s family moved several times throughout his childhood. However, their deer camp in Claiborne County, Mississippi, remained a constant. Regardless of where they lived, the family returned to the property nearly every weekend during hunting season. It was there that Ben harvested his first deer and first turkey and made countless memories with family and friends. Those experiences taught him that land is much more than something to own—it is a place to enjoy, improve, and pass down to future generations.
Ben graduated from Germantown High School in 2019 before attending Mississippi State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science in 2022. His education in agriculture, lifelong connection to the outdoors, and appreciation for land stewardship naturally led him into real estate. Ben obtained his Mississippi real estate license in 2023 with the goal of helping others find properties where they can create memories and build legacies of their own.
Ben married his wife, Catherine Grace, in 2024. They currently live in Hernando, Mississippi, while she finishes school in Memphis, Tennessee. Following her graduation, they plan to move to Greenwood, Mississippi, where Catherine Grace grew up. Outside of real estate, Ben continues to spend as much time as possible hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
