Brent Baughman’s roots run deep in the Mississippi Delta, where he was raised on an 800-acre cotton farm in Drew, Mississippi. Growing up immersed in agriculture and land stewardship shaped not only his work ethic, but also his lifelong passion for the land.
He attended and graduated from North Sunflower Academy before continuing his education at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead. Driven by a passion for aviation and agriculture, Brent furthered his training at Ag Flight in Bainbridge, Georgia, where he earned his credentials in 2003 and began flying at Shelby Air Service. In 2007, Brent went to work for a large farmer based out of Illinois who farmed roughly 55,000 acres across five states. This opportunity allowed him to make connections and build relationships that have had a significant impact on his life.
In 2010, Brent launched his own agricultural aviation co-op, demonstrating both entrepreneurial drive and industry expertise. By 2014, he had bought out his partners and successfully operated the business independently until 2022, when he sold the company to pursue new opportunities. In addition to his aviation career, Brent has spent over a decade farming and brings firsthand knowledge of land management, crop production, and rural investments.
Brent also owns, operates, and manages multiple rental properties, giving him a well-rounded understanding of real estate from both an ownership and investment perspective. His diverse background allows him to guide clients with practical insight, whether they are buying farmland, recreational property, or income-producing assets.
An avid outdoorsman, Brent is passionate about hunting and fishing. Having grown up around a very strict whitetail management plan, he has developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife habitat, making him especially valuable to clients seeking recreational and hunting properties.
Brent and his wife, Jennifer, who worked in accounting for nearly twenty years, are now involved at Bayou Academy, where their two daughters attend. Brent brings the same level of commitment, integrity, and hands-on approach to his real estate clients as he does to his work, his land, and his family.
